Who We Are
Debi and Chip Bruce have spent many years working to get very unhealthy and put on a lot of unnecessary weight. Just like a lot of people around the world, we had succumbed to the “good life.”
But finally in 2022 we saw the need for drastic life changes if we were going to live long enough to see our 6 grand-children grow up. We started a health journey that led to a combined weight loss of over 140 pounds and the ability to increase our activity levels to never imagined levels. These changes in our lives has led us to a very strong desire to help others acquire what we did: a vibrant life that is more exciting and fulfilling every day!
Three key factors lead to inferior health and shortened lifespans in adults. Our program addresses each of these areas leading to improved health and well-being.
Healthy Weight-being grossly obese in the United States is approaching a level of 50% of the population. Excess weight decreases our health by decreasing our life expectancy, increased levels of chronic disease and decreases our ability to do both routine and wanted activities.
Muscle Loss-starting at age 30 the quality and quantity of our body muscle composition starts to decrease at an alarming rate each decade of our lives. Unless we take measures to combat this natural event, by the time we are in our golden years we are not fit enough to be active.
Loneliness-the lack of significant relationships and a support community in our lives, otherwise known as being lonely, decreases our longevity by up to 30% according to recent published studies
